Tibio- Fibula of Frog

i) It is a compound bone of the shank region of hind limb.

ii) It is formed by fusion of tibia and fibula forming a single tibio-fibula.

iii) Proximal and distal end covered by cartilage.

iv) Near proximal end tibia bears a cnemial or tibial crest.

Tibio-Fibula of Varanus

i) These are bones of the shank of hind-limb.

ii) Tibia is a stout bone and bears a longitudinal ridge, the cnemial crest along the dorsal surface.

iii) Fibula is a relatively slender bone promaxillary articulating with the femur.

Tibio- fibula of Fowl

i) Tibia and fibula are the bones of the shank of the hind-limb.

ii) Tibio is a long and stout nearly straight bone.

iii) It is formed by the fusion with the proximal row of tarsals.

iv) The fibula is a slender bone closely applied to the outer surface tibiotarsus.

v) Proximallary it articulates with the femur.

Tibio- fibula of Rabbit

i) It is the bone of the shank of the hindlimb.

ii) It is made up of two bones of unequal size.

iii) Tibia is a stout and a straight bone.

iv) Fibula is a slender bone fused distally with tibia.
