Comments on stomach of frog

i) It is composed of five layers i.e serosa, subserosa, muscularis, submucosa and mucosa.

ii) Serosa is thin and single layered, subserosa consists of a thin layer of connective tissue consisting of a blood vessel.

iii) Muscular is consist of thick and prominent layer of circular muscle fibers.

iv) Submucosa lies below circular muscle made up of loose connective tissues fibers with blood vessels.

v) Murosa is the innermost layer and consists of simple columnar epithelium. It is thrown into numerous folds or villi projecting into the lumer.

Comments on T.S of stomach of rabbit

i) It is composed of 4 layers, serosa, muscularis, sub mucosa, mucosa.

ii) Serosa is the outermost layer composed of simple squamous epithelium.

iii) Muscularis consist of outer longitudinal muscle and inner circular muscle fibers.

iv) The submucosa is made up of connective tissue containing blood vessels, nerves and Lymph vessels.

v) The mucosa is the thickest Layer consist of sample columnar epithelium and tubular or gastric glands.
